Getting lost is a major contributor to wilderness emergencies and land navigation skills are critical to safe wilderness travel. Not your typical tabletop map and compass course, we spend the day navigating off trail on our challenging mountain navigation course.
Tracking
Learn the ancient skill of reading and interpreting the tracks and sign of both humans and animals. Get some D.I.R.T. time alongside search and rescue team members as you practice Detecting, Interpreting, Recording, and Trailing sign.
Chainsaw Operations
Join veteran sawyers to learn how to safely use one of the most productive and dangerous tools in the woods. These hands on courses will emphasize safety and the efficient use for felling and bucking operations.
