JOHN SHARBEL

John is a native of East Tennessee. John became a paramedic in 2007 while living in San Diego, CA. In the ensuing years, he has worked on an ambulance, in a level 1 trauma center emergency department, as a flight medic for the Tennessee Army National Guard, and as a backcountry medic for The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. John is the Assistant Team Leadera of Team BUSAR and has recently accepted a position with the Knoxville Fire Department. John lives in the foothills of The Smokies and spends his time hiking on and off trail, honing his medical and survival skills.
